Jay and the Americans

Lately, I’ve been busier than an Asian hooker servicing American sailors. However, amid my full-time teaching duties, my jiu-jitsu training, my teaching PSR to tenth graders at my church (a mistake if I’ve ever made one, and I’ve made a hell of ’em), my helping out with my hometown’s downtown association, my involvement with the local council of the Knights of Columbus, and my working on a screenplay with a friend, I’ve found a bit of time to reconnect with my young adolescent admiration for Jay and the Americans. Here is one of their finest. Listen to John Traynor’s voice soar.

PS. If anyone wants to say that teachers do not really work or that they only have four hour work days, let me put that person in my closed guard and choke him unconscious. If it is a woman, I will be content to put gum in her hair, unless she is cute–then I will have to persuade her otherwise using more devious and calculated measures.
